As the Director of Clinical Operations and Owner of When Kids Play, Leilani is an occupational therapist by trade. She received her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and has been practicing since 1997. In addition to working with clients in schools, homes, and the clinic, she has obtained a certification in Sensory Integration. Leilani has been a part of interdisciplinary teams for autism, early childhood, and assistive technology.  When Kids Play has been serving the DFW community for over 8 years and has grown with a strong reputation as a professional home health agency with amazing therapists who are committed to bringing the best in therapy services to our clients.

In my 20 plus years of working with children of all abilities, I have learned to expect amazing things from my clients! As educators, parents, and medical professionals, we often forget the most powerful part of a child is their potential! WhenKidsPlay was developed to meet a need in the community of providing services and opportunities to children who need a little extra support to grow.
